gruuna at the DLG Field Days

Some of the best soil in Germany can be found in the southern region of the Magdeburger Börde. Therefore, it is not very surprising that many important plant production companies and even the international DLG Plant Production Center have settled in this region.

Right here, in Bernburg-Strenzfeld the DLG Field Days –  a platform for presenting new developments, ideas and expertise – takes place every two years. Along with many farmers, dealers and experts, more than 300 exhibitors from 15 countries came to this year’s event from 19 June until 21 June 2012. Aside of participating in lively discussions, visitors examined machinery and informed themselves about new varieties and cultivation methods. New breeds, herbicides, fertilisers and modern information technology were of special interest to many farmers.

Unfortunately, unexpected downpours hampered the journey to and from the exhibition for some visitors and neither humans nor machinery remained dry. Those circumstances cannot prevent a farmer from attending and along with local visitors, more than 2,500 attendants from over 25 countries frequented the field days.

gruuna visited the show on Tuesday. We marvelled at the sights, informed ourselves about current topics and held many talks. Many exhibitors already knew us and many showed lively interest in our concepts and in the opportunities gruuna can provide.

This November the Eurotier will be held in Hanover and gruuna will be represented at the show with its own stand. Visit us in Hall 13, Stand F68 – we look forward to meeting you.
