A year of remarkable and curious business cases
For a year gruuna offers the opportunity to trade agricultural products online. Many deals were done during this time and some of them were so remarkable that we do not want to withhold them from our block reader. For this reason, we have looked in our archives and wrote down one or two anecdotes.
But read for yourself:
50 000 € and hardly any work
To get the desired product and still save a lot of work. Even so, it can work. A gruuna user had sold 1,000 tonnes of feed wheat for 210 € / t. In another trade, he acquired after the same amount of wheatmeal for 160 € / t. With a few clicks, our customer had saved not only the crushing, but also recorded a profit of 50,000 €. Conclusion: Very cleverly done.
To be found and benefit
Those looking for a particular product have the ability to enter a tender. Here, the user can specify exactly what he wants in what quality and at what price. You will find a supplier, the suits the application, he can accept the deal. In this case the following happened: Our customer was looking for fertilizer. 100 tons, it should be. The current market price was at this time at 28,50 € / t. On gruuna this value can be beaten often. So it happened. On our online platform a seller was found that delivered the desired quantity at a price of 27 € / t. Conclusion: who seeks finds, and saves.
Take a photo and just test
What is new, has to be tested to understand it better. Many customers find that so on our agricultural market on the Internet. Before they buy or sell many goods online, they often start their experience with a first cautious trading. Who wants to play it safe, uses on our platform the possibility of a fixed-price sale. This works quite simply. The customer defines what he wants to sell in any quantity and at what price. Then he waits until a buyer agrees to the deal.
With 250 quintals of barley the gruuna activities of one of our customers began. The price should be 21 € / dt amount. Curious on this: The barley was already loaded on a truck. Our new user photographed the entire scene and offered his product for sale. Whether it was because of the unusual photo, has not been reported, at least it was not long until a buyer was found and the merchandise changed for a total of 5,250 € the owner. Only the damage and then lucky
The self-propelled feed mixer wagon of a farmer, had burned down. After the insurance claim with its existing distributors one of our users asked for a quote for a new unit. This should cost 163 000 €. This definitely must be better, thought our client and then placed in our farm market on the Internet a tender. A dealer confirmed the request and sold him a new feed mixer for 150,000 €. Conclusion: A stroke of luck in spite of damage.
The price of oil not only goes up
The oil price usually moves only in one direction – up. That there is another way, proves the following example. 500 liters of motor oil were needed for a client to fuel its cogeneration plant. From his former dealer came a written quotation of 850 €. With a tender the farmer found two dealers on gruuna, that wanted a purchase price of only 795 €. Conclusion: A good offer comes seldom alone.
